We lead our members to become active citizens through our productive focus groups of which topics are assigned according to the needs of our organizational structure, our young members and the local youth in our environment.

Our Focus Groups all have a structure: There needs to be at least 3 members. One of them is assigned as the representative to the Core Committee and keeps both parties in touch. Each Focus Group can request funds from the central budget of the organization provided that an activity plan and draft budget is prepared. All the written documents, invoices and activity reports are to be regularly submitted to the Core Committee. Here are the basic focus groups that you can join in as soon as you become a full member of Youth A.R.T.

Institutional and Public Relations

The Core Committee representatives to this focus group are Mr. Murat AKBIYIK and Mr. Cenk AKDAĞ.

We pay special attention on being professional, getting quality in whatever we do, setting pre-determined strict regulations so as to keep the organization alive in the future. They meet other NGOs so as to start collaborations, get media attention on our activities and prepare multimedia tools to promote our organization. Our publications and website contents are prepared by this focus group. There are also web designers to set our online media tools.

Youth Politics and Research

The Core Committee representative to this focus group is Ms. Fethiye ERBİL . This group aims to organize seminars, informative meetings, visits to other youth NGOs paying special attention on research about the youth issues in Türkiye and throughout Europe. They follow the media tools with the emphasis on youth participation in decision-making processes.

Project Development and Partnerships

The Core Committee representatives to this focus group are Mr. Bahadır ÜLGEN and Mr. Emre BÜYÜKKÖSE . Due to the fact that we mostly work project-based, this group’s productive hard works are essential for our future. They start new partnerships into projects as well designing new projects to be applied within various framework programmes such as the Youth in Action Programme, SALTO and World Bank.

Organizational and Social Works

The Core Committee representatives to this focus group are Ms. Damla TEZEL and Ms. Gülden KÖPRÜ .

The more we get to know our members, the more effective projects we can realize together. This group organizes in-group activities such as meetings, parties, picnics and tours. They organize meetings for the new members to create an environment where the experienced members can share what they have learned.

Culture and Arts

The Core Committee representatives to this focus group are Ms. Melis TURANLIGİL and Mr. Hasan Volkan ÇELİK.

This group aims to design projects to be applied as well as catching up with the upcoming cultural and art events at local, national and international levels. The focus is on the Youth in Action Programme. They also promote local cultural events to let our member go and enjoy.

Fund Raising

The Core Committee representatives to this focus group are Mr. Hüsem KORKMAZ and Mr. Burak ÖZKAN . This group mostly works on the budget. As Youth A.R.T. is not an officially registered organization, we need to work hard to get funds for our activities. They receive fees and contributions from members, audit the project budgets and set new sponsor partnerships to support our activities.
