"What’s the project?

This is a long-term project on use of e-tools for developing an online portal advertising youth works throughout Europe. Main focus is on developing tools for youth information.

Who can Participate?

Students and youth workers interested in developing e-tools, marketing and PR of youth events and youth organizations in international cooperation can take part in different phases of the project. Young people from 9 European countries; Slovenia, Netherlands, Spain, Estonia, Malta, Hungary, Turkey, Poland, Czech Republic will collaborate during this project.

“iloveculture.eu” will become the first comprehensive website showing projects that take place, will take place and took place within the Youth in Action programme. 55 YIA organizations will be involved in the project. The portal will be very useful! You can find the latest news related to actions and find partners for projects. Participants can meet each other before a project starts in an online community and after the project they can rate the quality of it and do an online evaluation. Organizations can get tools to disseminate their results, and their projects automatically move to the project gallery after they took place. People who are curious or new to the YIA programme can click on the Google Maps and easily find projects at any location and watch a video about the project. There are always activities happening in your country and who knows maybe that exchange or youth initiative will finish with an exhibition or cultural presentation that you can visit.

To develop iloveculture.eu portal we have already organized a multimedia training in Slovenia in late January 2010. There, participants learned to create contents for an interactive website.

After the training course, the participants are nowadays creating content (video, photos, reports about YIA activities) in their own countries.

During the seminar to be realized in the Netherlands on 19th – 26th April 2010, follow-up projects are going to be made accompanying the presentation of all visual productions.
